Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Tom started Synaptic in 2007 and has grown the company from a CRM-focused implementation partner to a leading provider of health, knowledge and mobility solutions on the Salesforce.com® platform. His passion is improving the interactions between organizations and their customers, patients, employees and constituents. He has worked aggressively along side some of the nation’s preeminent experts to design solutions that improve health outcomes among patient populations at a reduced cost to payers and providers, while responding to the ever evolving new paradigms for care delivery.
As the CEO, Tom directly manages the growth of the organization with particular focus on bringing valuable and innovative cloud-based products to market. Tom strongly believes that workflow, CRM and care management tools should be intuitive, responsive and a natural part of your organization’s business rhythms.
Vice President of Strategy and Development
Dan joined Synaptic in 2008 as a solution architect and now serves on the executive team, where he leads initiatives to identify, develop and launch cloud-based products specific to the Health and Life Sciences Industry. The hallmark of Dan’s career in Health and Life Sciences is the deployment of Synapse, Synaptic’s newest population health management and care application, which is built on Force.com®. Dan designed Synapse software to meet the growing demands in the healthcare marketplace for a user-friendly, interoperable and smart tool that patients and care providers can access anytime, anywhere.
Vice President of Delivery and Operations
Mike has been with Synaptic since 2011 and is the principal architect of SynoV8, Synaptic’s proprietary and proven methodology for needs-based project scoping and implementation. Mike oversees the daily operations of Synaptic’s delivery teams and develops the process for each project’s implementation. Additionally, Mike is responsible for hiring and training a team of trusted and tenured professionals to work with Synaptic’s customers. His ultimate goal is to seamlessly deliver ideal and thorough solutions to each and every Synaptic client.
Steve is the Managing Member of Rest Partners, LLC, a company that provides equity and debt capital in the technology and entertainment industries. Steve was a co-founder of USinternetworking, Inc., a leading SAAS company. In seven years with USi, Steve was instrumental in several key milestones including: venture financing, successful IPO, rapid growth to over $100M in revenue and achieving profitability. USi was sold to AT&T in 2006.
Steve’s current investments include Zenoss, a leading provider of network operations software; the Tony Award winning Broadway production of Pippin; and Diamante Eco Adventures in Costa Rica.
Chief Financial Officer & Senior Vice President of Operations
With over 25 years of experience in finance and operations in small growth stage companies, David brings a strong entrepreneurial spirit to Synaptic. He’s passionate about making a difference in the health care space, loves working with smart people, and enjoys the challenge of building momentum in new markets. He continually looks to make connections across Synaptic’s many business functions, encouraging the cross-pollination of the thoughts and ideas that lead to our greater success.
Vice President of Sales
Rob is Vice President of Sales, spearheading the pre-sales, sales and direct channel operations for Synaptic. Rob is an established sales executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in the technology field. In additional to his long standing roles at HP where he was Americas Vice President of Technology Services Sales, Rob held the positon of VP of Sales Engineering at Oracle Corporation for the hardware infrastructure teams covering the central area of the U.S. and strategic accounts. Rob’s aim is to leverage his past client centric experience to build and deliver custom solutions to Synaptic clients that are agile, high-performing, and drive lower total cost of ownership.
