Install Youreka and Get Started

Prerequisite: A Salesforce login to install Youreka. Youreka only works with Enterprise, Unlimited or Developer editions of Salesforce. This can be your organization’s internal Org, a Sandbox or a Developer Org.


How to Install

Welcome to Youreka! This tutorial will show you how to get started with Youreka by installing the application from the Youreka AppExchange listing and configuring the app inside your org.

  1. Log into your Salesforce Org using your Username and Password.
  2. Access the AppExchange.
    1. In Classic, Navigate to the App List and select the AppExchange.

    2. In Lightning Experience, open your app launcher and select the AppExchange.
  3. In the Search box enter Youreka and press Enter.
  4. Select Youreka from the list of search results.
  5. Click the green button labeled Get It Now.
  6. Select the option to Log in with your Salesforce credentials to log into the AppExchange.
  7. Click the green button labeled Get It Now again.
  8. Select the Install in production option if you are installing in a Developer Org or in production, otherwise you will Install in Sandbox.

  9. Check the terms and conditions box and click the blue Confirm and Install button.

  10. Log into your Salesforce Org using your Username and Password again.
  11. On the install screen, you are given three options. Based on who will be using Youreka, choose to
    • Install for Admins Only if you want to give access to the objects in Youreka via a Permission set.
    • Install for All Users if all your users should have access to Youreka.
    • If you’re not sure which option to choose, please consult with your Salesforce Administrator to ensure you are installing for the correct profiles.

  12. Check the checkbox to Approve Third-Party Access for Salesforce Einstein API and click Continue.
  13. If you receive a notification that the install is taking longer than expected, don’t worry! Click the done button and navigate to your email. Once you receive the verification email you are ready to proceed. This may take some time depending on your internet connection.

  14. Once installed open the Youreka app.
    • In classic, navigate to the App List and select Youreka.

    • In LEX
      1. open the App Launcher.
      2. Select Youreka.
  15. Click the Get Started tab and select the blue Activate button to register Youreka.
  16. From there, based on how you wish to use Youreka choose to Go with Mobile+Offline or In Salesforce and we’ll step you through how to get started. Don’t worry, you can always return later to the Get Started tab to try the other option.
