General Description

Our Solution Architects have strong backgrounds in software delivery, Salesforce.com, and business analysis. They play a critical role in our success. These individuals are highly motivated self-starters who can effectively manage systems design, configuration, implementation, and problem resolution. They also have a strong knowledge of Agile SDLCs, systems engineering and business process re-engineering. Our Solution Architects are responsible for the complete life cycle of the company’s Salesforce.com initiatives, and possess the ability to make technology easily understandable for end users and to showcase the potential power and value of our solution in a very customer centric, supportive and comprehensive fashion. These positions will be based in Annapolis, MD, and some travel may be required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings, gather requirements, and suggest solutions
• Map business requirements to technology
• Creation and ownership of business and technical design documentation
• Work closely with project manager and development teams of 3-5
• Thorough understanding of Synaptic’s corporate vision and the CRM industry

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Thorough knowledge of Salesforce.com
• Ability to determine general systems architecture
• Consultative communication style

Desired Skills & Experience

• General knowledge of project management and tools
• Experience with web services (WSDL)
• Flexibility – ability to adapt to dynamic situations
• Experience with any of the following: Java, Javacript, SQL, Ext JS, C, C++, C#, .NET and similar
