Configuration Consultant

Description

Synaptic Advisory Partners is seeking new Configuration Consultant to work on interesting and challenging projects.   Consultants must be highly motivated self-starters, who will bring a strong technical foundation and the desire to broaden their skill set. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment while developing highly sought after expertise in the rapidly expanding world of cloud computing. This position requires the ability to make technology easily understandable for end users and to showcase the potential power and value of our solution with very customer centric, supportive and comprehensive communication skills.  The Configuration Consultant position requires the ability to quickly understand client business structures and needs as well as the ability to articulate and demonstrate what is required for a successful implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree ( Computer Science, MIS or equivalent preferred)
  • 2 to 3 years progressive technical experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Salesforce.com certification is desirable, but not required

Requirements

  • Experience working with Java scripts, object oriented programming, and database technologies
  • Experience working with SaaS and cloud technologies desirable
  • Strong commitment  to self-improvement and skill development
  • Ability to adapt seamlessly to a dynamic work environment
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Some travel may be required

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project  meetings to gather requirements, prioritize objectives, brainstorm alternative solutions, and drive decision making
  • Hands-on design and build of technical solutions leveraging Salesforce.com and other SaaS based applications
  • Collaborate on new products and tools being developed by our team
